Browsing does not create an account and we do not run advertising or analytics trackers on these pages. Maps are served by Google Maps and images through a content delivery network, so those providers see the request your browser makes to them, including your IP address.

The review form asks for your email address and keeps it with the review. We use it to tell one review from another and to contact you about what you wrote. It is not published beside your review.

We hold the email address you signed up with, the role you chose (renter or buyer, agent, or owner), and anything you save while signed in — favourites, saved searches and enquiries you send to agents. Agents and agencies additionally hold a professional profile and any verification documents they upload.

Thailand requires the occupier of a residence to report a foreign guest to immigration. Where we file that report on a landlord’s behalf, we hold what the filing needs: name, date of birth, nationality, passport number and, temporarily, an image of the passport page. Visa details are held where a tenancy needs them.

The passport image is deleted automatically. Once a report is filed the image is marked for deletion after 24 hours, and a job that runs once a day removes the file. Nothing else in the product deletes itself on a timer, so this is the only retention period we state.

These documents are reachable only by the agency acting for the property. They are never part of a public page.

Some property listings reach us from public posts elsewhere. Where a post names the person offering the property, we keep what identifies the source of the listing so we can attribute it and answer questions about where it came from. That means we may hold a small amount of information about you even though you have never visited or signed up.

If that is you, write to privacy@chiangmai-property.com and we will remove it.

Our database and files are hosted with Supabase in Tokyo, Japan. The site itself is served from Singapore by Vercel. Images are delivered through a content delivery network. Uploaded documents sit in private storage that is not reachable by a public link.

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and object to us holding it. Write to privacy@chiangmai-property.com. We answer within 30 days, and we do not charge for it.
