Chang Phueak sits at the north edge of the Old City, just outside the Chang Phueak Gate. It's the neighborhood that the nomad scene "discovered" after Nimman rents got too high post-2022. The district has its own cafe scene (smaller but growing), the famous Chang Phueak Gate night market for northern Thai food, and fast access to both the Old City and Nimman.
Rents run roughly the same as Santitham — 40-50% lower than Nimman for comparable units.
